Your Cozumel Bottom Fishing Trip begins with a short boat ride to the Fishing Grounds (10 minutes approx.), where you'll begin bottom fishing for Prime Eating Fish such as Wahoo, Mahi-Mahi, Kingfish, Triggerfish, Barracuda, and Red Snapper, Grouper, Mackerel when in season.

You will then begin bottom-fishing with our outriggers and 4 regular lines the fish-teeming waters of Cozumel, with live bait (we use ballyhoo) or with our choice of custom lures and fish teasers. For tackle we carry a selection of Shimano©, Penn International© and Penn Senator©.

Bottom Fishing in Cozumel is among the best salt water fishing experiences in the Caribbean. Whether this is your first time bottom fishing or you're a seasoned veteran, our professional, highly experienced, English-speaking captains will make your trip extraordinary

You'll usually catch at least a couple of fish in your trip. Unlike other salt water fishing destinations in the Caribbean; Cozumel bottom fishing grounds near the reefs are always teeming with prime eating fish all year around. Red Snapper, Mackerel and Groupers among other sport fish can be found on season too.

Your Captain and his first mate will set you up with all necessary tackle, and they'll even fillet and clean your fish for you at the end of the trip. You just need to reel them in and enjoy the reef fishing experience.

Please note:

Cruisers and Hotel Guests are Welcome to our Bottom Fishing Trips. Kids are allowed to come onboard and fish since the age of 3, but must remain under parents supervison at all times. Infants are allowed onboard from the age of 1 year old.
